On the night of his betrayal and arrest, Jesus gathered with his disciples in an upper room. They shared a simple meal of bread and wine together. Jesus also washed his disciples’ feet as an example of exuberant love. And then Jesus gave them a new commandment, “love one another.” And so, we will gather this night to celebrate Jesus' exuberant love, and to remember the love we are to emulate in our own lives as his followers. Stone Village's Maundy Thursday service will include hand-washing, song, prayer, a homily, and the celebration of Holy Communion. Please note, children are welcome to attend, however, SVC Kids will not be offered during the service.
