Coffee Talk

Coffee is good. Conversation is good. So why not launch a ministry that offers both? Beginning on Wednesday, February 6, Pastor John will be at Mission Coffee from 7 am – 8 am every Wednesday. There’s no set agenda beyond an opportunity to drink coffee and have conversation about life, faith, and everything in between.

Additionally, each month, Pastor John will be reading a spiritual/theological text, which we can discuss if you’ve also read the text.

During the month of October, he’s reading Disrupting Homelessness: Alternative Christian Approaches by Laura Stivers.

This is an on-going ministry offering, so drop by as your schedule permits. If you have any questions, please contact Pastor John

Beer, Conversations & Faith. SVC open gay-friendly ministry offerings for our contemplative community in the Short North of Columbus. You are welcome here.

Pint Theology

The format is simple: beer, conversation, and faith.

Pint Theology is an open ministry offering, so bring a friend, and be ready to engage in conversation on varying social, religious, and philosophical beliefs as well as life experiences.

Pint Theology is offered on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm at Seventh Son Brewing Co.

Pints & Plots

Reading the Bible is great! Reading devotionals and other spiritual texts is also great; however, sometimes you just need to read a great work of fiction.

On the 3rd Tuesday of each month, Stone Village's reading enthusiast gather at Seventh Son Brewing Co. at 6:30 pm to discuss our monthly reading selection over a pint.

Pints & Plots is an open ministry offering, so read the book and join us.

October's Selection: The Buried Giant by Kazuo Ishiguro. We will gather on Tuesday, October 15 @ 6:30 pm to discuss the novel.

November's Selection: Everything Matters by Ron Currie. We will gather on Tuesday, November 15 @ 6:30 pm to discuss the novel.
